What our guests say

Seaview Apartments provided us with exactly the holiday we were looking for. We arrived two old worn out wrecks but will be leaving today revitalised after two weeks of rest and relaxation mixed with all the activities the island has to offer. To Ray and Sue we thank you for all your hospitality which added that special something to an already perfect holiday.

Ross & Heather (January 2017).

Dear Sue and Ray. What a wonderful place this is! Thank you for all you did for us! You made us feel so very welcome, we’ve really enjoyed the little island tour, making coconut milk, eating fresh tuna and most of all your cheerful company. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Big hug, take care.

Luc and Caroline (December 2016).

Thankyou for another fabulous week in Cocos. Your hospitality made our stay very special and Sue’s fishing tips were invaluable. Best wishes for whatever the future brings you.

Phil and Maureen (October 2016).

Words can’t describe your hospitality and kindness. We’ve had a truly remarkable stay at “Seaview”. Thankyou Ray for my daily “coconut fix”. Thanks Sue for the yummy bread you baked us! It’s been a great week. Cocos Rocks.

Ray and Victoria (August 2016).

Ray and Sue

Thanks for making our 10 days the best holiday we have ever had. We instantly felt at home and relaxed able to share a beer or 2 or drift off into a book whilst sipping a coconut or 2. Thanks Ray for your help with my surf and kiting gear and thankyou Sue for keeping Ian busy with various fishing trips. We would recommend Cocos and yourselves as hosts in a heartbeat. Thanks for everything, we are sad to leave.

Sally and Ian (July 2016).

From the moment I cast my eyes on the pristine, crystal clear waters surrounding the Cocos-Keeling Islands I knew that what was about to unfold over the next 10 days was to be something special. Huge GTs in near knee deep water, Blue-fin Trevally, Turtles everywhere you look, Milkfish, hordes of freakishly large Silverbiddies, Sweetlip, Bump-head Parrotfish and Bonefish numbers that need to be seen to be believed. The quantity and size of the Bonefish on offer at Cocos really is first class. With endless flats to explore and a tropical island paradise pretty much all to yourself you will go a long way, and probably spend a lot more money, to even come close to beating this place. The Cocos Seaview is the perfect place to base yourself for an Island adventure. It has top quality accommodation on offer for an affordable price and the friendly hospitality and local knowledge that Ray and Sue give really helps to add to the overall enjoyment of your trip. If fishing is your game, or you just want to get lost in an untouched wilderness, get yourself to the Cocos-Keeling Islands. I am already planning my return trip!

Mark (June 2016).

What an experience! Can’t believe we waited so long to come here. Mark now wants to live here! One day maybe..?! Thankyou so much for your hospitality and for listening to Mark’s many fishing stories – he can now add bonefish and massive GT to his list! Cocos Seaview is a beautiful place, you really have created a special paradise. Looking forward to our next visit.

Thanks for making our week on Cocos a great memory. Seaview Apartments is a lovely place to stay, we will definitely recommend to others! Hope you haven’t caught all the fish before our next visit & Ray has thought of some new jokes. Cheers.

Thank you very much Ray and Sue for the wonderful holiday on Cocos. It’s a promise. We’ll come back for the 4th time in December/January. Cocos is a paradise – for us it’s a special island.

Isabella and Gian Carlo (January 2015).

Thank you, Ray and Sue for a wonderful stay on Cocos. Our third visit but the best accommodation on the island. Loved the spa, the outdoor kitchen and your friendliness and eagerness to make our visit the best it could be. The New Years Eve fireworks are a must for any visitors – especially if it means a 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc visit.

Dave and Jan (January 2015).

Thanks Ray & Sue for a marvellous stay. The tour was entertaining and enlightening. Providing us with toothpaste and brushes was really appreciated (we left ours behind!) Great advice, really comfy room. We also loved all those special extras – fresh coconut water, cold, on tour straight from the nut, fresh coconut milk, coconut moisturiser, fresh paw paw. Would recommend a stay & hopefully we will return.

Cathy & Pete (November 2014).

Dear Ray & Sue. Thank you for your kind hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at “Seaview”. I especially love the coconut milk & the delicious Pina Coladas. Lots of love.

Michele (February 2014)

Ray and Sue, I’ve felt at times as though I’ve been staying with family. My 1 week stay is flying by and your pointers have kept me at the centre of a good time the whole stay. You’re good company when I needed some, but you let me be when I just needed my own company. I love the garden outlook and really enjoyed chilling in the cabana. Great set up guys and thanks for being model hosts. I’d recommend Seaview in a heartbeat.

Steve (October 2013).

Sue and Ray, thanks for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Such a beautiful location and accommodation with your hospitality to top it all off. We are already planning our return trip next year…perhaps 3 weeks of kitesurfing, sup’ing and snorkelling. Best wishes and see you again soon.

Sandie & Roland (August 2013).

Have had a fantastic time on Cocos. It is the most amazing place, made even more enjoyable and memorable by the accommodation and hospitality at Seaview. It’s little wonder they have won awards – Ray and Sue, thanks so much for making this such a great trip. I look forward to the next time (might even catch some fish!). Cheers.
